Hi,

I haven't ordered mine yet but I'd like to fly the Inspire with goggles. Is it possible to use the Cinemizer OLED with an HDMI adapter?
http://www.zeiss.com/cinemizer-oled/en_us/home.html

Or, are there alternatives like the Avegant Glyph coming later this year? http://avegant.com/

Thanks,
Daniel

I had asked the same question with a DJI Chat and posted in the forum earlier, I was told that they will work on the HDMI connection and also if your using a IPad Air 2 or something similar you can display both in the goggles and the iPad as well together.
Hope this helps a bit.

They work just fine you just have to go to your local electronics store and get a micro HDMI to HDMI cable.

That seems to work. This guy mentioned that he is using the Cinemizer OLED:

As I understand it the easiest connection would be through a mini-HDMI to mini-HDMI cable otherwise I have to connect a mini-HDM->HDMI adapter to a HDMI->mini-HDMI adapter. Unfortunatly, I can't find any cable with mini-HDMI on both sides?

The glasses come with a mini hdmi to hdmi adapter so if you get a mini hdmi to hdmi cable you can connect them

Correct, you have to buy a mini hdmi to hdmi cable to connect it to the hdmi to mini hdmi adapter mine has arrived yesterday, no test flight yet but I can confirm that the Cinemizer OLEDs are working. You have to switch on dual output so that you have video output in the app and on the goggles.

BTW: you can enable the OSD on the external hdmi port as well. I noticed that there are strange battery reading of 134% although the app shows the correct 96%, maybe a bug?

Thanks for the confirm I purchased two sets of the Carl Zeiss OLED's  and just canceled my inspire 1 order last week due to many excuses of no delivery, and since no extra parts I think I will be waiting for the Version 2 Inspire 1 release if or when its available I just put them on craigslist http://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/ele/4876962444.html
