Oh well, a 30-30 is a Nice general all around deer gun. But for serious kick ass power 30-06 or 308.
Now you can take big bear, adult moose, large elk, what ever roams up here in N America... Ha

Personally, I think DJI made it clear by DJI-amy stating that they DON'T want us hand catching. Because they stated it I WONT be doing it and I never would have anyway because I won't risk getting chopped up by 4 spinning ginsu knives.

you can use "hand catching" If you have more than 4 neurons, Enrique Iglesias has only two, and they fight

This thread is old, over the last year I actually started hand catching and it’s not quite as dangerous as I originally thought... it’s just like anything else, you have to practice and get good at it....

I catch mine in my teeth while riding my bike.
I have very long teeth.
And a bicycle.Every now and then it goes wrong and my head falls off but it does not matter because I'm a vampire.

Please, stop trying to turn the world into a bunch of snowflakes. Done right, theres no problem.
Just give me 5 mins and I'll fetch some cotton wool to wrap you all up in.................

That would be great, I enjoy being wrapped up in cotton every Friday night...

THe argument is old hat ...

I have posted similar to others about it ... but my view is :

I don't hand catch if all else is fine and I can land out properly. But there are times when hand-catch is better ... rough grounds, on a boat, snow,  etc.

So for me - its when landing out is not advised ... which is not that often.
