P2V+: Battery & Compass Errors after update to 3.14

Hi after I updated my Phantom vision plus to 3.14
I get 2 Errors:
- Not Dji intelligent Battery
- Abnormal Compass data / check compass connection

Knowing that the Battery is original & working on my Phantom 2, I have 2 batteries both don't work... Compass calibration doesn't work too...
I hope for some help, maybe downgrading to 3.08?

It seems that with the recent updates, you are getting the same "protections" as we do.

-> no 3rd party batteries allowed anymore, only original from DJI

If you are bothered by it, try downgrading your DJI GO App (2.6.0) and try again.

For the compass problem, try going to a different location and check if the problem persists, if it does, do a new calibration with no metal objects on your body or around the drone, even watches and phones are not recommended.

Does the update show up as good in the Phantom Assistant? Do both batteries show up as not needing an update in the Assistant?

Have you had this Phantom since new or bought it used?
Was your Phantom working fine prior to the upgrade?
Did you have any kind of hard landing?
It says check compass connection, have you checked it?
Are you familiar with compass calibration procedures/locations etc.?

How long had it sat since you flew it last?
Were the batteries left charged, if so, how long? as they are not recommended to be left charged for more than 1o days and if they do not auto discharge they could be ruined.
Did yo do or check IMU etc. after the firmware update?
What version were you on before the upgrade...3.08, 3.10 or 3.12?
did you upgrade the RC as well?

You could try to do a firmware reload or maybe try a hard reset and then reload.
I have no idea why you would be getting those errors.

First plug into the assistant and see if it is showing any errors. That's the first step. Let us know!

Hi,

I have the same problem as Hanswurst, after Update to 3.14!!! No Battery Status, Compass no display and the camera control dosnt work.
How can I return to the old fimware ?

Here is a link to a Phantom firmware reset, many have done it/had to do it, just be careful, it does work.
