I had the Inspire 1 for almost a week now.  Sorry to those that are still waiting.  But here is a problem that I am seeing in front of me:
1. One of the props were damaged when it arrived so I had to use the back up
2. The TB47 battery is awesome but runs out pretty fast (16-18 minutes)

With that said I have ordered a TB48 (25Min) battery in November and I do not see any updated information that it is on its way.  Also trying to find props is as bad as finding batteries.  No one has props or batteries and if you look on eBay you will find some knuckelheads trying to sell a battery for over $500.

DJI, this falls right in your court.  You will have Inspire 1's grounded because of poor supply logistics.  

I have access to a 3D scanner (laser) and 3D printer. I'm going to scan both black nut & silver nut props and print some spares.

it will be awhile for accessories..likely more than a week. i have a larger batt. on order as well..22minutes..i WISH 25min. i have been told 2-3 weeks..ouch.
in my case my two remote inspire through amazon will not be here until the end of the month..w.t.f?!!
  i found single remote units available today for a friend and they will have one before end of next week..geez..i have been waiting for well over  a month..amazon has got me pissed!

The props I don't have an answer for. The Battery situation is that due to the capacity of the battery they  have to be shipped by Sea and Land. It is an Air Freight limitation an Battery Capacity in Amp Hours (available current) Most likely a safety issue in regard to a shorted battery starting a Fire.

I wouldn't even give that a try my friend. You are going to have weight issues, balancing issues and I am sure a DJI Warranty issue.

I ended up buying a second inspire via dronestore on eBay... Guess that gets me 1 extra battery! But seriously it would be great to have all the extras I order ship already. As someone said "it's a tease" with one battery!

This is an issue for sure how can there not ne parts available by now?

Our LA Service Center received a quantity of replacement parts for warranty repairs with more on the way.  I also heard 2-3 weeks for the TB-48 but cannot confirm that rumor.  I believe that it was mentioned that for the first few months fly very carefully because parts are not going to be readily available.

I would strongly advise you not to print you own props. The organic materials typically used for printing will not be strong enough to support the centrifugal loads of the spinning prop. The DJI props are carbon reinforced to support the load. In addition you are unlikely to achieve an adequate surface finish from a printed structure.

Tahoe, I hope your parters in other markets will receive spare parts soon. My i1 had a close meeting with a tree today and I will probably need some spare props. My fault and lucky me there was no other serious damages. Sry guys, No video captured from this flight

Makes sense (not 3D printing). It was a quick hopeful thought. Plus I like having my warranty in tact.

All e RC had bAtteries in stock today. The regular ones not the extra capacity. I bought two.

I've just been told batteries may arrive late February or mid March if I'm lucky DJI  what the hell ?
No sorry  no feed back nothing this is very very poor to bring out a product and not supply the most important parts blades and batterys.
I'm excitement has gone how can you go flying anywhere for me drive 30 mins to a safe place to fly for 15mins !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All e RC has the TB47 in stock.   Ordered 2 yesterday, shipped out same day.  Will arrive 1 day before my Dragon gets here!

One of my black topped propellors has threads on the inside that look stripped.  I tried to screw it onto motor once and heard a grinding sound so I didn't use it.  Would DJI send me a new prop or set of two?

Ya Right, just as I suspected.... I call DSLR and they do not have in stock.... If you order, it is a preorder!  Duh,  looks like they are following the DJI order process.. Order now and receive later!

Just as I suspected.  Another dealer did that, did not say pre-order.  I had to find out a day later that they are waiting for shipment.  

This goes back to my original post, DJI will and does have Inspire's grounded because of supply issues.  Wars are lost due to lack of supplies.

Cool! While you are at it. You might want to scan a new Shell, Landing legs, Gimbal, Arms, and any other parts that will break when you fabricate your own blades.
