Here you go. I recorded mine and as usual when I'm doing something for the first time and it's late and I'm recording and I'm stupid, I make the simplest things look difficult.
We really need the assistant 2 as that will make it even easier but here is a video I put up to show how I did mine.
Right now I'm uploading some vids. I have an eye for pixels. I am what they call a Pixel Effer (but the worse word) and HOLY CRAP this is as good as looking a video with no filters or special settings as some cameras that my company has spent $15,000 on. I am not being hyperbolic. And those ones dont fly or track.
Everything is changing right now. I lived through BetaMax, HDV (1440 anyone yuck), and the first flash cards the P2s with the HVX Panasonics. The prosumer Sony HDRs and now this is by far the biggest jump in technologies in such a short amont of time.
First of all, I am sorry about the audio on this, there was an electromagnetic unheard while recording sound thst makes this unbearable. In about an hour, I am going to pot my maide flight that was shot like I said in bad lighting, no filters, no flags, no c-stands, no dollys, no platters, no pigeons, no gaffer or grip and it looks better than most stuff that we shoot for network television. Not even cable or new media. Looks better than network television sitcoms and stuff.
The P4 is a raging success. They have just canobolized the Inspire IMO (of which I own). This looks better than an X3 Inspire and I do NOT like the 360 cameras so I am biased. The X5, X8 and X5r of course will look better but only to the trained eye. 90 out of 100 people wont know the difference between even the X8 and whatever is in the P4 which I believe is the X3 and thought so for the pro and adv too.

Why we have to update the firmware in a new product like the P4? The P4 is not equipped and shipped ...
Picture a warehouse with 10,000 Phantom 4's. All are boxed and palleted. All ready to ship today. If the tech peeps finish testing and verification of new firmware after the units are all boxed up there's no way they would stop the whole shipping process to update each P4. The videos of the firmware update look pretty straight forward. But I haven't done it yet. Still waiting on FedEx. I'm glad they are not delaying shipments to do an update.
That's right. The day before the release, they installed the firmware and placed 39,741 P4s into their shipping boxes. Then 17.67 minutes after they sealed the boxes, a new firmware was released. It's hectic I tell ya....

I just bought a new smart tv plugged it in guess what? Firmware update they are all at it
Bingo, you are correct!
the first thing EVERY high tech device does is check for, or suggest a firmware / software update.
Tv's, routers, pc's, mac's, Iphones, androids, xbox, hec even your car software gets updates....
I have not figured out why so many think its odd or some kind of failure by DJI that something this new and cutting edge gets updates, improvement's, updates often.
It is exactly opposite of that,,, keep pushing and advancing the firm/software!
WE want that...
