I'm sorry to tell you but it seems your video transmission module is corrupted .
Try downgrading then upgrading and see if it still shows DEVICE NOT DETECTED on module 8 and 15.
if it does, then you need to send in the aircraft for repair.

In case of something goes wrong is it possible to downgrade the firmware to the 1.6 version?

The signal range has not been diminished in any of the updates.
If you have a significant signal loss after an update and you are operating your aircraft in the exact same conditions as before the update than it may seem to be something from the update.
I would suggest contacting the support center for possibly having it sent in for repair.

Yes......you usually delete the bin file unless you have to update the extra batteries you might have.  Still waiting for an answer on wether there is a battery update in this new firmware.

yes, delete the bin file. Sometimes there is a battery update too. So if you have a bunch of batteries, the BIN file would need to be on the SD card for each battery. BUT, the app will tel you if there is a battery update. If not, then delete the BIN file.

Ken, the release notes to not explain anything. I am on WiFi and I am on Cellular. I do have to disconnect wifi from the internet to connect to the Phantom 3 Standard. I have connected/disconnected WiFi/Cellular, Aircraft/Internet in different combination a dozen times on two devices and no notice on either one.

For P3A owners - the update takes about 5mins of that annoying beeping (not as loud as previous updates, thank god) before you get the constant green LED.
Ken - Can you confirm  that P3A Aircraft should now be   1.6.40+ following upgrade or should it be 1.7.n.n ?

I'm running Windows 10 and I've never had any kind of problem.
The computer doesn't need to open or read the bin file, but it is downloaded as a compressed Zip file and must be unzipped / extracted first.
On my computer I right click and select "extract here".
Then you just copy and paste or drag and drop the unzipped bin to the micro SD card.   

Where can I get this new firmware? My DJI Go app doesn't mention a firmware update.

The update should say 1.7. If after refreshing the app on WiFi and power cycling the aircraft. it could be a server issue. If it doesn't eventually say 1.7 by tomorrow I will inquire about it.

But on occasion before when the + symbol was there, after being on WiFi and connected to the server the +went away.
You can also reattempt the firmware to see if it resolves it.

ok - seems like a number of owners are having similar issue  ill try again tomorrow

The solution for those seeing the + sign insted of 1.7.0060 is after upgrading the DJI Go to 2.7.0 and your Drone via SD card - restart your tablet / phone then log in to DJI Go you will be asked to upgrade RC throu application and that should update the drone to 1.7.0060 and RC to 1.5.80

P3P here. Upgraded all.

App - 2.7.0
Aircraft - 1.7.60
RC - Version 1.5.80

Did take a few reboots of the RC to get it to recognize the new version. Kept getting firmware update needed and in the "About" menu, "Version unknown."

But all is well, flying great!

Just to let everyone know, this update "bricked" my P3S.  The update failed at around 35%.  I called Support and was informed that it was because my phone isnt one of the recommended devices.  I dont know about all that, but i have to send it in now.  Right at the beginning of spring when everything will be coming to life....
