Yeah unless you have a mount or very tall building it's hard to test that. I did test collision avoidance on the drive down to where I turned off the conntoller.

You were taking a few risks then wires one side of the road tress on the other then it nearly hit the floor making a dusk swirl, what I did like is that it shows that the Phantom 4 does have a few issues not knowing how high you are flying from the ground, interesting to see as you went down or up hill... Really the active track is only any good if you are on a level surface. I wonder if DJI will make a software change to the sensors so it can adjust height....

Cool video.  Pretty lucky it didn't hit the trees in a couple spots.

It's really too bad that it has no ability to keep itself at a fixed distance to ground like most of the third party apps already do even with the older model Phantoms.  Obstacle avoidance might still prevent it from hitting a building but it seems like it could just trip itself up on the ground with a very gradual elevation change.
