So I have recently given up on my Inspire (which by the way is a terrfic unit) and was going to build a S1000, but then found something I liked better and ended up building a Vulcan Black Widow X8. Long story short, I need to record video with the GPS cordinates overlayed over the video.
My current setup just incase it will make a difference:
~Vulcan Black Widow X8 airframDJI A2 flight controler


~DJI LightBridge 2
~DJI Zenmuse Z15-GH4 (HD)
~Panasonic GH4 Camera
~Two iPad Air 2 (for the controllers)
Now I was looking at the DJI grounstation thought maybe that would do what I need and that doesn't look like it will. I can pull up the GPS cordinates from the DJI GO App, but how can I have it write to my video right away?
Is there something I can buy to hook up to the GH4? And app I can use on the iPads to record it? (I have tried a screen caturing App on the iPad, but it records everything else as well fro the App, but I only want the GPS cordinates) Any information or help would be nice!

Unfortunately none of the DJI apps allows you to do this.  Maybe you can add the coordinates from DJI GO app and add to video in post.   I honestly don't think there is any other way.

Try the Garmin VIRB editing software you can overlay gps data etc.
