What are the major differences? I know that the installation methods are different, but how much of an advantage is the T model? What are your guys' success rates with each? I know that if upgrading the system to the T props saves the quad once, they've paid for themselves but I'm just trying to convince myself that they are worth the cost.

the main difference is the mounting, 1345T prop mount is  more reliable

Okay, thanks. The only problem I have with them is none of my local shops carry any!

Also, how many flights are everyone getting before the 1345s props feel a bit loose  on the motors? I just retired my original set of "s" model props because I was able to rotate them slightly while seated on each mount. They were only flown about 40 times. (mounted and removed about 20 times)

I have over 100 flights on a set (1345T) and they are still as tight as the day they were new.
There's a guy selling them on ebay now for $14 / pair. A steal!
I took the initiative to buy new lock kits in case they ever wear or break so I would have the parts on hand. ($8 for a pair)

I have used all three types from the spin on with locks, then the 1345S and now the 1345T without any issues.
Love the new 1345T design for easy on and off. At this point, if you are to invest in new props, I would recommend the 1354T props and hubs.

Do you notice a flight time/characteristics change between the 1345 original and 1345s? I have the opportunity to pick up the originals for cheap and have heard they are more secure than the "s" in long term.

The original props were noisy as compared to the S or T versions. The QR props are a bit stiffer in the root section. I cannot say that the flight times or performance is much different from the three versions but to be fair you would need to do back to back comparisons to be sure.

I am very happy with the "T" version and do not plan to change unless DJI comes out with a new breakthrough design that forces me to want the latest prop.

Okay, thanks for all the help. After hearing everyone's testimonials I feel it would be best for me to just suck it up and spend the money for the "T" version.

Guess that's your personal view. No known issues with the latest "T" props.
