Ray,
How many charges on each of the four batteries?
Any picts of all the goods?
A picture is worth a 1,000 words and likely a fair bit more than $500.00

Obviously you are a pessimist, the flight data will give you the locationa I flew in and therefore you can find out if it was flown in the reason, as far as crashes, I'm sure there would be tell tale signs and again you would be able to see it thru the flight data, and I am under no illusions as to what I should get for it.

On 3 of them 53 times and on the last one 64. I have kept a log of the batteries and have done the maintenance every 20 charges. I will take photos shortly and post them here. Thanks

Have not seen you around here in a while,

Oh yea flew through out the cold winter. The reason I stopped hanging out here is becoming obvious from this post, lol. I still have my blacked out p3p and looking to buy a p4. I may just keep this p3 and give it to someone as a gift. Never know I may give it to someone deserving on this forum, as I have in the past!

He's a little low but may not be by much...at least in the coming weeks. You can find new in the box P3P's for $800 if you look hard enough. I listed mine for $800 last week and the only offers Ive gotten where $700 in a major metro city. The depreciation on these quads is insane. I will never buy a new copter again...or at least wait under they release an updated bird and buy the previous one used for 30-40% less.

I was responding to Ray and he get's it...
Nobody said anyone did anything to anybody and not sure where the sensitivity thing comes from...not everything has to be on edge...

No one has done anything. Normally I add up everything and divide it in half if in very good condition. So I'm thinking around 800.
Now just because we don't all do things in the same manner doesn't make it right or wrong, just different approaches, and I'm sorry if I try to get the most I can!!
As for adding people as friends on my iPad, clicking on the avatar does absolutely nothing on mine!

I normally don't sell my stuff, I give it away to others to enjoy. So I just didn't have a price in mind. But I think anywhere around 800 to 900 is fair. Assuming I'm not a liar and trying to sell something that is broken and all messed up, cause my life really revolves around 800!!! Comment not intended at you.

Personally, If I was able to see it in person, then I would say $800.00 U.S. Cash.  Online, I just could not go  over $600.00 due to the what if scenarios.
Best guess with everything you have and the current market flood of used birds being sold, I would say try for $800.00 and see if you get a bite, but except competition for lower.
Amazon is now selling the Pro for $877 new and $750 used, so the market is already showing a decline for the Phantom 3 lines

I am amazed at what people "think" they can get for these Phantoms online.  I have been in the market for a used P3A or P3P for a few weeks now, checking the local Craigslist postings regularly (I prefer to buy local rather than have one shipped sight unseen).  Most people around me (NE Ohio) think they can get $1000+ for their P3P's.  I think they base the price off what THEY paid, rather than the current market value.  I'm sure it hurts to pay $1300 for something, and 6 months later have to sell for 1/2 that or maybe less.  But that is reality.  We all know brand new P3P's can be found online now for $800.  I think that puts the value of used ones in the $500-$600 range.  I would be taking a chance even paying that much, as I do not know the history of what I am buying (rough landings, crashes, abuse of battery, etc.) and would have no warranty coverage.

Obviously, if a seller has extra batteries, case, etc - that adds to the value of the sale.  But in most cases, those extras bring pennies on the dollar as thow-ins to a sale.  Better off selling them separately on eBay...

Yup.  Just like a car.  Once it leaves the dealers lot, the value drops.
To give an idea, here is one sale.

Yup.  Just like a car.  Once it leaves the dealers lot, the value drops.

And in reality, it's even worse with tech items.  Though a car loses maybe 20% of its value when it leaves the lot, the rest of its depreciation can be calculated with confidence over time.  It's unlikely tech advances will render a car virtually obsolete during its lifetime.  Tech items like our drones are evolving at such a rate that what is new and "state-of-the-art" today, might be considered obsolete 12 months from now.  Even perceived obsolescence will cause the value of these drones to drop dramatically.  We are seeing it with the P3 line now, as the P4 is the new standard, and P3's are yesterday's news.  It wasn't long ago that P3P's were selling for $1200.  Now they sell new for $800, so they have lost 33% of their retail value in just a few months time.  Obviously, pre-owned ones are worth substantially less than that!

But that doesn't stop many sellers (and I am not referring to the OP) from expecting to get 80% of what THEY paid for their Phantom when they sell.  So we have a bunch of sellers thinking to themselves, "I paid $1200 for this drone, and it is only a few months old so practically new... I can get $1000 for it"...

Everything and anything is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. If your intention is to sell it, I would imagine it would be easier dealing the maybe Craig's list in your local area. That way, the person wanting to buy can meet you somewhere and they can visually check it out and make you an offer. I've sold a few items on Craigslist and has worked out well so far. Good Luck
