I am interested in customising the shipped travel case for the Phantom 4 to accommodate 2 additional batteries. As I will only be using the case for field work I was intending on modifying the holding locations for the charge cable and brick.

My question would be, has anyone attempted this so far? Care to share your results or advise.

The P4 case will carry three batteries already.  It has built-in slots for two batteries and you can have a third in the P4.

When I was testing the other day I was obviously trying to put the batteries in the wrong orientation. Glad I don't need to modify the case as I was mildly disappointed at this assumed oversight.
