Can anyone direct me to a tutorial video or literature that explains the telemetry radar in the bottom left corner of the DJI Go App?  I find the manual lacks information for newbies. Trying to figure out by using simulator, but confused.

The radar icon is actually quite useful for quick info about your Phantom at a glance (there is a post about its use but I can't find it). As described by others it shows the orientation of your bird with respect to you (provided that your tablet's compass is correct), and its heading (green zone in front of it). If you look closely you will also see that the horizon is shown as a light blue "water" zone, indicating the tilt of the craft. The rings give a measure of the distance from you (300 feet or 100 meters). Hope this helps.
