I just looked at the instructions on the DJI Download page for theFirmware updat procedure. I stopped at the first line. It states that you need a 100MB SD Card.Is this a Typo! I have never seen a 100 MB SD Card. Also I believe you have to insert the Card with the update in the Camera. The Camera takes a Micro SD Card. I am confused about thiswhole update procedure as I haveseen many posts with issues. Now I am really confused! Cananyonefrom DJI clear this up?
Thanks

Unzip the file and load the bin on the sd card that came with the inspire. Once the inspire is done you will need a usb thumb drive or card reader to connect to the Tx usb port. Do the same thing, copy the bin file onto this device and let the tx update.

They mean that the update requires 100MB of space on your card. And yes, it's a micro SD card. As you stated, you first insert the card with the update into the camera, and after the aircraft had been updated, as Blade_Strike points out, you insert a USB stick (thumb drive) with the same update into the controller.

It doesn't always work the first time. Not to worry. Just try it again.

Thanks, just got a little confused with my MB'S and GB's. Everything you see today is in GB's. 100 MB is just a drop in the bucket. I will ask note thing though. The Download instructions state a PC, am I to assume everything apples to a MAC?

Yeah.. you're only using your computer to extract the bin file.

Thank you, I am going to give it a shot tomorrow. Can't fly now anyway, sub zero temps, that is why I am not rushing.

I understand that. There is no way that you will find a 100 MB card. As I said above I got crossed up.

When I bought my first computer an Apple Lisa it had a huge external hard drive that you had to start and wait for it to warm up. It had a whole 5 MB on it. This was back in the 70's
