I don't see why not as it's not in the exclusion list, just don't modify your aircraft and don't use 3rd party apps while flying or crash in water and you should be safe with it.  Maybe DJI-Ken or DJI-Tim can chime in.

I got DJI Care 1 year for my phantom 3 pro and am happy to if got it. I have a trackimo gps so with dji Care I have care free flying.

Thanks for the response. I too hope a DJI rep responds as well so I can get it from the horse's mouth so to speak!

Yes, DJI Care covers whether or not if your aircraft is used for hobby or commercial use.

if ur aircraft fall with DJI Faq and Policy its covered..

No problem at all. Hope you purchase the DJI Care, it really is a great program for you and all other DJI flyers.

$63.00 for a years worth of coverage from State Farm, no deductible and will replace it no matter what happens to it

I have heard of people getting that, but in California it is a no go.
