Hi all,

In short: use an iPad. Ive tried with mac, nexus tablet, nexus 5x phone. No luck.


When using iPad this happend:

1) I connected the iPad to the controller
2) turn in p4 and controller
3) dji app launch
4) app tells me an upgrade exists
5) I click on upgrade message and are immediatly asked if I want to download upgrade

*** this step 5. does not work in the Android devices ive tried ***

6) The download stops a lot of time and I just select continue download
7) After finishing download the app tells me to connect direct to drone.
8) After connecting to drone I selected upgrade.

Worked.

It took reloading the DJI app but this eventually worked.  Thanks.  Meanwhile the official way of using the DJI Assistant doesn't work at all.
