If I have a work in a NFZ (e.g. Florence area) and I've obtained all the permits to fly (Enac, Soprintendenza, Local Authorities .....) how can i put the aircraft in the air? All the limitation are applied to all DJI aircraft models?

Turn off beginners mode and you will be able to fly in the NFZ   You'll just get a warning

Doesn't the DJI software auto-land the aircraft and you can't control it till it landed?

It depends how close in you are in the NFZ.  The closer you are, the less likely it will fly. Otherwise you will just get warning on screen.

Thank you, this is a very clear.  I saw here http://www.dji.com/flysafe/geo-system/unlock that we have 4 zones now as you can see in the image. What are the differences between the 4 zones?

Dji the link you provide here http://www.dji.com/flysafe#regulatory-links is an old version of the regulation. The last version is at the following link: http://www.enac.gov.it/Servizio/Info_in_English/Courtesy_translations/info-1220929004.html

It is funny how DJI determines the no-fly zone to be either 0.6 mi or 1.5 mi around the airport reference point (ARP). That distance usually covers the apron and big part of the runway(s). But not more. And actually, this is the area that is LEAST dangerous because all aircraft tend to be on the ground there!

What would be really more useful is to block areas along the main runways up to a certain point in the glide path that is over 1500 ft - so that the technical limitation within the drone will keep it in safe limits.

It always going to be a radius of some distance around an airport, there's too many airports for a customized zone (flight path) if that's what you were saying. Not saying it can't be done, just saying I don't think they would add that to the FW.

I am sure it is too much - could be done for major airports though. This data (basically CTR shape) is available online in structured databases.

That was posted a year ago, the poster is probably not a member any longer, or does not come here any more. Don't expect an answer.

As WilliamH says, it is too complex to draw irregular shapes for these zones. In any event, DJI do not define them anyhow, it is done by a seperate company who's speciallty is in aviation mapping.

Ah. Thanks for letting me know.

Sorry, I'm not very active lately on this forum. That was an hypothetical situation, just wanted to know if it was possible unlock NFZ in case of need. Anyway you can't fly in a urban area for recreational use; for professional use you need a pilote license for critical areas than you can ask the authorities the permit to fly in such areas.
