Good morning guys,
Yesterday was my first attempt using TapFly,
I was at 350', open air no obstructions.
I selected a target about 1/4 mile away (large tree) the app aquired and locked on, very cool stuff,
I selected go and the P4 started on its way, several seconds into the flight
I received a message on the app "decending" I noticed the altitude was decreasing
The P4 was clearly decending, I canceled the flight and tried again,
Same thing, P4 started decended just a few seconds into he flight.
I read up on TapFly and cannot find any referance to this,
Lets assume I did something wrong ??  A setting ??
Any Ideas ??

They will ask.. did you do an imu calibration.... did you do a compass calibration. Are you running the latest firmware.... have you crashed it.... send it in for repair.... carbon copy response, then they will defend their position...

It was working correctly.
You were at 350ft and you chose a target that was on the ground (tree). So the tree you chose was lower than the altitude the aircraft was at, and since you programmed it to fly to a lower altitude the warning message was just making you aware of that.

One question,
Lets say the tree is 50',
How low will the P4 go once it get there ??
