You are the loudest guy I've met on a internet forum to this date and that's quite an achievement. Can you please back up your claims with some documentation on this problem of yours?

I fly a Phantom 4 and have no range issues at all. There is also other CE users that are reporting 3.5kilometer range and has video of it on youtube and logs published. This is with 75% less power than FCC users so should be even more there.

So You are really quiet about the fact that the most recent P3P filing from 2015 actually reflects LESS wattage than the P4 Filing?   Is the .78 extra watts that the Tx utilises in the p4 in your opinion the cause of the range being "half" of the P3P?

Yes, he has said a lot of things that have not added up or ended up being factual.  At this point it's only a matter of time before his tantrum tires him out and he goes off to never be heard again like the rest of his ilk.

Discouraging words from Drone on the Range

I loose videofeed at 1300~1400m range same location and hight my p3a goes 4km+ with no problems....why make a new model who is worse then the old model...I have contacted support about it but they have not replyed so far

huh?  What about that?  He must've increased the double-secret transmission power module or something, eh?  It simply can't be.  Can it?

One other thing - I really don't think there is an overwhelming number of P4 owners who care at all about the difference.  Probably greater than 90% of all DJI Phantom owners NEVER fly more than 0.5 miles away.  Ever.  Some people are just consumed by seeing how high or far away they can fly them, which is ludicrous - but hey, keep it up - ruin if for all of us.

UNLESS you are prepared to provide more facts, if you are that passionate about this do a YouTube video record the P4 and a P3 that would be great pick a landmark 3.5km and see what happens report that back on the forum then maybe you can prove your thoughts

I think the thing that's important is whether the P4 flies as far as they specs say it will.  Many products have different design specs; some parameters improve on previous models; others don't,  Some aspects of a product improve whilst others become poorer.
Does the P4 fly as far as a P3P?  Who knows?  Does it fly far enough for your average consumer? Almost certainly.  

This isn't a political cause; it's a consumer product aimed at the mass market.  If you feel the P4 doesn't have as good a range as the P3, then get a P3 if that's the most important element of flying to you.  There are clearly a lot of consumers happy with their P4 purchase.  If you're not, sell it and get something else.  
You mentioned cars. Would you be arguing to a Ford or Chevie forum about a new model car that didn't perform they way you wanted it to in the way you have been complaining here?  Would you honestly expect a car manufacturer take a blind bit of notice if they were still selling cars? The P4 is selling well by all accounts; but the P3 models are still widely available if that's what you believe is better....

You might not expect it, but it happens. Product specs change and certain elements change.  You are like a person obsessed about altitude; in this case it's range. So what if the range isn't as good as the P3P?  Do DJI claim it can go further than the P3P? No.  Does it go far enough for the average consumer? Yes. Does it have many more features than the P3P? Yes.
So saying something is superior to a previous model is subjective; it doesn't mean every single parameter is improved on....
No one is forcing you to drive a Malibu or fly a P4.  It's your choice.
