I bet my empty wallet that the operator CSC'd that drone , just send the DAT file to DJI and they ...
Safe bet, no money there to lose. But you would have lost it, did you not see the clue of the battery lights coming on in mid-air? There is nothing you can do with the RC unit that will cause that to happen. CSC will not do it.
Well, got response from DJI today and for my satisfaction, the problem I had was with the two extra batteries I purchased. Bad batch? Don't know. They will send two new batteries and I'll try them and let you know the outcome. Let's hope they give me some credit for paying $40.00 shipping to replace two brand new batteries I purchased and came damaged from factory.
OK Guys, I received back my P4. As they said, they just sent me 2 replacement batteries. I checked and only were charged twice so they are new (GOOD). I test fly it inside my home just to be sure everything is OK and drained a whole battery with no problems. Now will try to fly it outside. Thanks you for all your support and please, test every new battery for a full drain out before using it in your P4. Apparently there was a batch that had problems and I was lucky enough to get two of those.
BTW, DJI didn't sent anything as a gesture for their fault, not even a discount code for future purchases. I ended up paying $40.00 to resolve a problem they caused with a bad product. Definitively not a good customer satisfaction policy
Well, today I received a very good new...DJI granted me a very good credit in my account for loyalty. Don't know if that is common to DJI customers or just for people that had problems but anyways, I'm a happy camper.
