Using iPad Air 2?excellent mate

Have just bought an iPad mini 4 4G to go with my Phantom 4.

For some reason my iPad mini 1st gen had issues with the video signal breaking up, an iPad Air is excellent and just about fits in the control holder but won't fit in the Phantom Carry case.

One thing i didn't know was that the iPad mini 4 is slightly longer than the 1st gen and fits in the Phantom 4 carry case, but its VERY snug, I'm not sure if it would fit the iPad was in a case without some minor modification.

I Pad Mini 4 with Cellular, have no issues here works like a charm, also suggest a tablet hood also.....

I tried a couple of Android tablets but wasn't happy with either. I am NOT an Apple fan at all but I originally went with the latest iPad Mini and now have the iPad Air 2. Both are excellent choices and perform very well. Again, this is coming from a non-Apple fan. Plus 1 on getting the cellular version. The real GPS is worth the extra cost even if you aren't going to use the cellular option.

I have both the Air2 and mini 4, both spec'd the same with cellular and 128G. I prefer to fly using the mini but both work just as well, the mini is just easier to manage and it isn't so cumbersome when I throw the sun shade on it.

Ipad air 2 with cellular , that is the best for me , you can see really good.
