Anyone else having problems with the latest update? Downloaded firmware to inspire 1 which seemed to work, controller says update..press to upgrade,keeps coming up as failed? Any help here?

Make sure you only have the remote and the iPad and GO App turned on. DO NOT have the inspire 1 connected during the process. The remote update will finish and you shut it down and restart the remote... you should be good to go.

Did you complete the update on the remote?  It should make a beeping sound while it is updating but once it is complete you need to power it off and restart it again.

Sometimes the surface the Inspire is sitting on will not let the VPS work correctly. put it on top of the case and it should lower to travel position okay.

I have the same problem with my Inspire1 Pro ( 1 RC). Now I cannot use any more my Inspire1 and impossible to put it in low position.

i have send email to dji and we hope we get the fix soon ... i will inform you right away..

No greater rush on the planet when they work without any issues.!

Come on DJI, it surely cannot be this hit and miss can it???

Follow the video that Tim posted above, try to start over again with the RC. If you are still having issues then try reverting back to the last firmware and follow EZFLY's video below...

I hope you get it working, and if nothing else works you will need to contact DJI support

Thank you for your help  EZFLY. With the update FW v1.8.0.93 everything is good now. I make flight tests just now.

I had tried a few things on previous updates.  one of them just ended up being a bad cable.  The most recent update downloaded dji go on my phone then plugged it in to the transmitter and it worked (my phone has a curved back and doesn't fit in the cradle so I don't use it to fly).  My tablet would not work when trying to update but using another device worked for me.
