Assuming all necessary calibrations done somewhere else within non-ferrous environment, would you attempt to take-off and land in proximity of such structure? This huge garage/shed is made of galvanized steel and contains a boat on trailer.

Yep....it would not be a problem......I often take of from the roof of my car if the grass is to long......
Not the place to cal the bird, but it would be fine for take off and landing....

Thank you, harb. Now, WTF is going on with this new method of compass calibrating?!!!!! Suddenly Go app 2.7.1 says rotate the bird sideways during second part of the process!!!! They're driving me crazy!!!!

I calibrated mine today using the original method with the nose pointing down. I does not matter at all.
