Im hoping someone can give me solid information on the compatibility between the X5R and the Inspire 1 (original version).

Im hoping to purchase just the X5R as I already have the first Inspire 1 and was hoping that someone has already tried this.

I understand the differences beetween both the v1 and v2 of the inspire but leaving aside the different propulsion system/ leg raisers/ Gimbal plate/ 1345T blades and fewer flight

minutes, can the first Inspire handle the X5R 100%?

Hi !

All I know about the X5R and the "old" Inspire 1 is that it is fully compatible.

The only issue you will have, as you said, is the limited flight time due to this new and heavier camera whereas the Inspire 1 v2.0 has stronger motors, and new props.

That's all I know, hope it can help you !

I was told the i1 v1 could carry the x5 but there would be a reduce in flight time, as for the x5r it would be to heavy to lift.

it is compatible! As Gybo said all you need is new vibration absorbing board

I found that message "Zenmuse X5 cameras require an adaptor for use with Osmo that is sold separately. This adaptor will be available soon."
