I'm thinking about getting the litchi app for Android and was wondering if anyone uses it with a Galaxy S5 or the Tab A? I want to make sure it works ok before a spend the money.

I use the S5. I only use it for my Phantom,  it does not even have a sim card. It works fine.

That's cool I just want to make sure my s5 will work.  I talked with another guy on djipilot forum that said his works fine too. Thanks for your comment I'm gonna get it today.
