Everytime I try to install the Phantom 2 Windows drivers for my Win 8.1 machine, it tells me the install failed. I can't get these drivers installed successfully!

I've now repeated 5 different times where I uninstall drivers, reboot, and try again. I follow the procedure properly by installing the drives first, wait for the prompt to connect the MC, then it acts as though it's installing only to finished by saying the install failed.

Please help!

Try to start PC in failsafe and install driver, works for me.

Hello, is the win 8.1 32bit or 64bit? I've tried it on win7 64bit everything runs normally. You can also try to run the install program as administrator

Try this workaround. It works by me, using Windows 10 64-bit.

I did the same thing as Toelis suggests and it then worked for me. The only thing is once you do the shift/restart it took my computer a good while to get to the next step but after that it was fine!
