Last time I tried it did not work in Sport or ATTI mode. But I havent flown the P4 for a few weeks.

Really? In my experience any intelligent fligh mode will be canceled if I swith mode to S or A (from P), and the "RC icon" in the app disapear. When I am in (for example) POI mode and switch to S-mode, the POI mode is totally canceled.

Same here POI is cancelled when changing modes.
Skyrider can you post a screenshot of the APP in POI and Sport mode.

Well, the OP said his Active Track mode will not be cancelled if he change from P to S-mode. I have not tried AT myself, but the POI will be cancelled if switching from P mode to any other flight mode (S or A). Since both POI and AT is an "intelligent flight mode" I would think AT also would be cancelled if you switch flight mode.


Can the OP confirm that he activated AT in P-mode, then switched to S-mode and the AT is still active and tracking? (seems strange to me)...

Maybe it was a late April Fools joke. I just hooked up the P4 and there is not Active Track or obstacle avoidance in ATTI or Sport mode.
