Hi, I am the original, poster of this topic.  So basically, I first have to install this "beta" firmware and have an ANDROID device for it to unlock and work properly?? If so, no problem for the firmware but I do not have an android device only iOS. Am I seeing this correctly or is there another way for iOS??

I have it on IOS as well as others who are beta testing the IOS app.  It will be available publicly soon.

I don't see why you can't just fly without locking into satellites? The flamewheel running naza is stable enough without any satellites.

You can fly without locking in satellites by taking off before you have satellite lock. But then your home point will not be recorded. And as soon as you take off, you'll probably have satellite lock.
But if it's a NFZ, you still cannot fly in it unless you use the GEO Beta app or DJI unlocks the airport for you.

Geo Beta app not for Phantom 4 though right?
