I haven't seen any threads talking about this yet, so let me ask the question.
I'm assuming you can add the HDMI module to the phantom 4 controller without any issues, but does the Phantom 4 firmware support the HDMi module?

I was actually wondering the same thing. I see DJI is now selling an HDMI module that attaches to the back of your P4 controller (which equates to DJI saying yes, HDMI modules will work with the P4, but maybe only theirs), but the tablet i'm using right now is just fine. I'll wait until I get another battery to get the module, for the free shipping

That's where your wrong a quick search on the forum confirms fromDJI that this module works perfectly on the P4.   Well you would have found that out yourself if you had bothered to search

I installed the Hdmi module last week with no problems at all, I say go for it....

yes, the P3 or P4 HDMI module (same thing) will work on the P4 RC. The RC for the P4 is the exact same as the P3 except for the play button overlay and the flight mode overlay.
Only requirement is the RC is on the latest firmware 1.5.8.

And any P4 RC will work with the P4.

Yes it works good with my P4 Rev.C Controller and Zeiss Cinemizer.

Any ideas why DJI is not selling the module to UK customers ?

I was a quick decision based on reviews and I shoot mostly video set on 16x9. I'm really happy with them.

I bought fat shark dominator 3 too, it is so good for my inspire 1 and phantom 4.
i use 16:9 format in video so perfect for dominator 3.

Got it installed yesterday no issues, now I have to figure out how to bypass the USB connection in marshmallow 6.0 so I don't have to tap on the USB connection every time I connect to the controller

Nice, if using the app to update the P4, make sure you update the aircraft first then the RC.

Ken I will do the new firmware update that has just been released 7thApril then fit the HDMI module, do you think the remote control will then need a another firmware update

The HDMI module work on 1.5.8, so it will work for 1.5.8 or 1.6. But if you update the aircraft, you have to also update the RC. So update both and your good to go.
If you use the app, update the aircraft first.
