Hi,
I have a phantom 2 with the H3-3D gimbal. I have purchased the new controller, updated the phantom firmware and linked the new controller.
Now the problem: the gimbal does no more react to the controller and stay directed to the ground. I have tried all the settings but doesn't work anymore. I have relinked the old controller but even with this one the gimbal does not work anymore...
The Gimbal react correctly to the Drone movement and the camera stand still, but i cannot tilt it...
Do you have a solution for this kind of problem?
thx a lot

Assuming you use Assistant software similar to Vision + "Vision Assistant", make sure that the Upgraded Transmitter as opposed to Basic is selected in the Assistant software.  Should be in Basic view, RC tab.

Calibrate the X1 with the thumb wheel in the RC APP on  your computer.

Now calibrate it in RC Assistant, then in Phantom (?)  Assistant.  Power everything off and back on and you should be good.

Try to calibrate this way without connecting to the computer.

You have to do the X1 (Wheel) calibration in Vision Assistant.

I had the same problem and here is how i corrected it.

Attach the Phantom to the software via USB cable.

Advanced tab > Gimbal > change the horizontal value to "0" and the vertical tab to "0".  It's almost right, though mine is still a little twerky and since it's only a week old i may return it and swap it for a new one.  Let me know if this helps.

I had the same issue but now it rests in whatever position I leave it. This sounds really basic but upgrade everything including your controller even if it says one isn't needed. To be honest, I liked the 45 degree resting spot. Give it a try.
