I was wondering if the new Oculus Rift ($599) would be a better "visually" (2160 x 1200) FPV option (with the $99 HDMI out module) compared to the Fat Sharks Dom 3 (640 x 480) $350, or Fat Shark HD 2 (SVGA 800 x 600) $520?
It's not like your using the antaneas or the sd card recording on the Fat Sharks if you use them for the DJI drones. Plus you can watch 3D movies and play VR games with the Oculus Rift.

They won't do any better than the HD2, as the output from the HDMI module is only 720p resolution.

     Geebax is right and I have the Fat Shark HD 2 (SVGA 800 x 600) $520.  I have a 15.6 inch HDMI monitor and battery pack that also works nicely (1080p), but still only displays the DJI 720 native resolution.

I think the haedplay is cheaper and has more resolution than the HD2
