As drone technology continues to evolve, new features make it possible for a single pilot to easily capture complex footage and create incredible works of videographic art. One such artistic feature available to the DJI pilot is Point of Interest, available with the Phantom series, and the brand new ActiveTrack feature introduced with the Phantom 4, making it possible to circle and film a moving subject.
We’re excited to just begin to explore the new creative possibilities opened up by these features and invite you to join us in exploring the future of the visual arts.
Capture your own Point of Interest video using the aerial platform of your choosing and send in your best work. The results will be shared with our dedicated, global community and the best entries will win their creator some pretty amazing prizes, including their very own Phantom 4!
Creators can use any photography equipment including non-aerial systems to create videos.
Prizes
First Prize: DJI Phantom 4
Second Prize: DJI Credits valued at $500
Third Prize: DJI Credits valued at $300
Most Creative Prize(x5): DJI Credits valued at $100
Popular award(x5): DJI Credits valued at $25
Remember! You can share your entry on Facebook to recruit your friends to support your entry to increase your chances of winning one of these incredible prizes.
Is it all right if I upload my "youtube version" to the sky pixel site? It has a logo treatment at the beginning and at the end of it, and also includes creative commons, non attribution music that I do not own? Or should I create a "naked" version with just the shot, and no music or logo?
I don't feel like using my logo is in violation of:
"4. An Entrant agrees that all Entries must:
i. be the Entrant's original and sole work and not based in whole or in part on or copied from the work of any other person or entity;
ii. Not infringe upon any Intellectual Property Rights and/or any other rights of any person or entity;
iii. not advertise or promote any goods or services;"
because I do not have a section 333 exemption and am not operating commercially.
What a great thing to do! DJI...you guys just DO NOT live up to your bad reputation. This company really tries...and that means something to people like me! Thanks for doing this.
Hello. I ve just seen this contest, will try to perform a nice POI this week end. Eric ps : the video with the huge statue is beautiful ( the place and the film ;) ). It seems the drone is almost in contact with the temple roof !
Drat - wish I was able to enter some unusual work I created last year. It's not aerial photography but has been mistaken for it!
Youtube video clips below;
I would love to enter this competition and certainly have video subjects aplenty where I live ...
BUT
... support are dragging their heels on an analysis and repair request and have admitted in email that they do not expect to have the P3A repaired and returned before the closing date
... see my thread in the support/after sales forum.
Here in Venezuela there are no places to make Point of interest, however I can make one about annoying people queuing to get food, the risk is that they do fall from the sky to sell and try to get more food and beer
I don't think I understand what screenshot they want you to upload to the skypixel FB page on monday. Is it a screenshot of your facebook share? Or a screenshot of the Skypixel page showing 10 or more likes?
which one of these screenshots would I upload to the Skypixel FB Page on monday?
What sort of screenshot do we share on facebook? The contest instructions are NOT at all clear. If we post our FB share it does NOT show the likes on skypixel. The contest instructions are terrible.
But what exactly do they mean post the share on facebook? Post a screenshot of my facebook page showing I shared it? If so that won't show 10 likes on skypixel. Post the skypixel video page that shows the likes? Thats not related to facebook in any way. I don't get it.
I guess English is not their primary language, and they mean post a screenshot of your skypixel page for that video showing 10 likes. I don't get what that has to do with your facebook share though.
