Tim ,  do you happen to have the Link to the Firmware for the RC only for 1.3 ?  ( Need the C1_fw_1.03  file )  I have all the other ones but not that one and I have two Pilots who are trying to upgrade to the latest but must first get to 1.3 on the RC only.  I have had good luck with pilots using my 1.6 file for the current RC update  ( Using thumb drive ) but I need to know where to find this 1.3 file.    I am including the bin file to 1.6 for the RC only( Just an example of what i need but in 1.3 )  , I need the equivelant   in 1.3 Please .  Just a link to the download is fine. Some pilots cant re-set to 1.3 because they have old equipment otherwise I would have them do it that way.

Hi guys,

I don't really post but I do read a lot of what's said. Now, Long story short I upgraded today to 1.8. I didn't even take my RC's out of the case. The update went fine with 4 different batteries. Now when i powered on the remote it won't connect. Both remotes (Master and Slave) control the camera but it won't go into travel mode and the App won't show what firmware is in the remote. So I've tried everything from downgrading the craft to trying to downgrade the remote but the remote says there's no downgrades available. So, what steps can I take to get this thing up and running?

Any help would be appreciated!

You need to update the Remote as well as the Aircraft on this update ? ( just confirming you have done both)   What are you using for Go app ?  If you are using the I pad make sure it is updated,  If on the Android make sure you have the Proper Go App for it , it uses version 2.7.1.  Pilots are also having a lot of trouble with the androids lately , some say they do not have enough computing ower.    If so reply to ME so I get notification ( Like you did from me ) and I will gladly help you Jason

Good Luck- donnie

Camapumjr Have you rollback the Aircraft with Success ? You can only rollback one update, if you loaded 1.8 to the Aircraft you can only go to 1.7.  You must then match the Rollback to the RC, the RC match for 1.7 on the RC is 1.58 ( I know it is a bit confusing )

I will give a link on how to rollback the RC in the next post, be sure you have a good wi-fi signal and the aircraft is off when doing the rollback to the RC, and Make dam sure the RC transmitter is off when updating the aircraft.

If you are trying to rollback the AC simply place the File for the previous FW on the SD card and load it just as you did  the update, make sure you get the one that applies to your aircraft.

Followed instructions to the letter when upgrading firmware. Aircraft first, then RC. Power cycle remote and aircraft in between updates. Went from 1.5 to 1.7 then to 1.8.

Now my Inspire 1 camera refuses to respond. It powers up, doesn't even do gimbal calibration, just locks up and vibrates. I have tried downgrading back to 1.7 but have had no luck doing so.

Need help urgently, please, someone.

Recheck what version of the firmware you used.  Make sure it is the correct .bin for your model Inspire.

Rich you said it perfectly, I got the bird only to upgrade by dragging the file.
you have done this correctly when  you can check on the card it will have a added txt.file
message saying  Success. You have to do Aircraft always first.
Even though when turning remote on and looking for what version you have on the new Prox5
It was prompting me to upgrade pushing you right to the RC upgrading...... you must stop turn your rc off and do the aircraft first.
This point is always being made on the forum and reading does pay off.

Hi, I'm on WM610_FW_V01.08.01.00

After updating, my gimbal isn't able to calibrate itself at power up, and this is a video of what happens

I'm not sure why this is happening. It was fine on previous firmware (v1.5).

Just put the X3 onto my OSMO to check if the problem is on the aircraft side, and it exhibits unusual behavior on the OSMO - no auto calibration on start up, and it travels to the extreme lateral limits of the gimbal in a somewhat sluggish/drunken manner.

That's the right .bin for an Inspire v.1 with X3 camera.
Behaviour on both AC and OSMO does not sound good.  Is the DJI Warranty still good?

Did you remove and reconnect the camera on the gimbal? Try cleaning the connectors etc...

Sounds like the camera has been corrupted somehow. Not sure if you can downgrade the camera to the previous firmware? That's a question for DJI Tim

If this is under warranty, you may need to send it to DJI  for repair

Sorry

Upgraded my entire system to Firmware Ver. 1.8.01.00 and one of my batteries keeps returning the message "Battery requires a complete cycle of charging discharging etc. I've done this down to 2% and recharged. This is now the third time at recycling and still get the same message from this one battery, others are fine. Any thoughts on this? Thanks

Hi

I'm a new Inspire 1 RAW Pilot, and I'm having Firmware Upgrade issues.  I installed WM610_FC550R_FW_V01.08.01.40.bin, correctly, using the root folder of the SD Card.  The light kept flashing green and it beeped D---D-D-D for a very long time, and then I powered it off.   Suddenly, DJI Go detects my RAW as an Inspire 1.  I try the update again, and now it detects as an Inspire RAW, but the about screen reports ALL firmware versions as "Version Unknown"

Anyone faced this issue?
By the way, to update a second battery, i just run the same firmware update again with the new battery in place?
