I havent upgraded my firmware for time now, since before DJI bought in the geofence where you had to register your flight to unlock it so you can fly.

Is that still in place or have they removed that idioctic upgrade ?.

I see theres yet another upgrade, but I dont want it if it still has this stupid restriction built into it.

So whats the situation please?.

I am wondering the exact same thing.  I haven't upgraded my firmware for some time now because i am worried about what could be hiding in the updates.

DJI - can you respond to this please - is the geofence lock and requirement to register before each flight still in place or has it been removed?.

Yeah, it was something you had to opt IN TO not OUT OF.

Don't upgrade the firmware or you are subjecting your self to lock outs and letting DJI control how you fly your device which you SPENT big bucks for.
