Here is a distance test that I have made with my P3S and a windsurf.
The video speed is 2x.
I've traveled for 4.6 kilometers, and I reached 2.3 kilometers far from RC with my P3S and a windsurf.
It's a very good gain with almost none of investment.

It seems that it is a very good place for flight.

I take it you are in FCC mode and not CE. I have manage to get about 850m with and without windsurfer.
