Sorry because you may not want to hear this but your best bet is a job.  As a student you are  eligible for student discounts of 10-20%.  If you get a p3 standard you can get for 499-20% that 100 off so 399.      Get a weekend job or allowance and save up. If you save up and earn it you will have much more respect and over all pride.    Something given has no value and easily mistreated.  If you have to work for it you will have pride and take much better care of it.     Once again good luck with saving up for a drone.

If you are pationate and goal driven, you will find a way to aquire what you want through hard work and dedication . You live in a first world country, you have access to a computer, the Internet and assumingly a top class educational system.
Unless you suffer from some form of disability that impedes your ability to gain some form of after hours and weekend work, I see no reason why you should be on this forum asking for free handouts.
I would suggest that your time be better spend looking for a Job and working hard for what you want, just like the majority of people on this forum have done.

I got a sob story too!    I want free stuff.  Mine ends with being in a wheel chair in 10-15 years.  Can I get free stuff?    And all my bills paid like car insurance, gas/electric. My phone bill,   mortgage.   My wife's disability claim to finally get approved after 3 years.    Gimme stuff too!

Your best bet is to write a letter to President Obama. He likes to give away free stuff.

if I was in your shoes I wioild seriously look. Into getting  slightly used /crashed drone . Plenty kn eBay where only problem is it's missing the gimbal or camera or have the camera/gimbal but it got busted up in the crash

You. Can score yourself a pretty cheap phantom but like anything else do your homework . Know what you getting into and about what it's gonna cost to get it fixed or you buying. Parts and doing the repairs yourself .   This leaves u with no choice but to figure out the drone and also how to work on it and learning the numerous parts .

If u think buying it is the hard part , lol think again .   U gonna spend almost just aboiut what u paid for the drone but on accessories . Not to mention cost of parts / labor ( if u pay someone to fix it ! ) WHEN A CRSSH OCCURS

Nothing is Free, he has to take it away from someone (taxes etc) in order to gift it to another....

I'm not qualified to pass comment on that one, but I will say I've met and also spoken to some good people from both sides of your borders. I did some work in the American Embassy in London a while back and the folks there were great. Especially the Marines posted there at the time, professional yet down to earth boy's with a great sense of humor.
