I've tried every sequence known to man, different cables too.  After reformatting my iPad Air it won't connect to my Phantom 4.  My Mini 4 will just fine but not the Air or the big iPad Pro.  Latest firmwares and stuff but since the upgrade I decided to "fresh start and dedicate" an iPad Air and it simply will not connect.  I even restored back to previous and it won't connect.  Shoulda left well enough alone.

Hello, I'd suggest you to reset your Air to factory via iTunes if your mini 4 could connect normally with same lightning cables. It is recommended to back up before reset.

What iOS version(s) are on the different iPads?  There have been many reports of connection problems with devices using 9.3.1.

Yes, I'm getting the same on my iPad 3 mini, 9.3.1. I tried reformatting my iPad and still will not connect. DJI GO let's me LOGIN with my iPad, but cannot see my flights and cannot use the camera. Feels like it's something on the DJI Server. Why would it recognize my LOGIN but not bring up my profile?

Fixed. Download the Apple Beta 9.3.2 and install on your IOS device.

Same problem here . Cannot connect with iPad air (IOS 9.3.1) . hold on the page at"How to connect" . actually can active the aircraft just without camera only. please help....
I had restore the iPad air many times. problem still here.
P4 had beed updated to latest firmware .
but(iPhone 6s IOS 9.2.1 ) can suceess connected with camera.

I solved it by doing what DJI Palidin suggested.  I did a "Restore" from iTunes directly with the computer and the iPad connected immediately and perfectly!  Thanks!

I had success with what DJI Paladin suggested.  "Restored" my iPad using iTunes on my Mac instead of just restoring the device over the air.  Worked instantly!  No problems since.

I'm running 9.3.1 on my iPhone 6+ but my Mini 2 stopped getting a decent connection and actually drops the aircraft altogether eventually.

Ugh! Why did I update.  

I'm guessing whatever the issue is, the app on the iPhone is fundamentally different and I am also using A7 and M7 on the mini and A8 and M8 on the 6+.

I had a iPhone 6 with 9.3.1 and it worked fine and still does connect and now I bought a new 6s plus and I can't connect. Stay s on how to connect screen. I did a restore from iTunes but to no avail.

Trying to connect IPad Air 2 WiFi only, IOS 11.1.2, Phantom 4, current firmware, have tried all above, but not the 9.XX versions.  Works fine with IPhone 6S Plus, and IPad Pro 12.9 WiFi only.  Intrigued why Air 2 will not connect, despite resets, etc.

Hey guys, I'm having issues connecting my iPad Air to my Phantom 4 RC. I have the most updated version of the app. I'm also running IOS 11 on my iPad. Is anyone having the same issues? Any fixes?

Sometimes I need to unplug my Air 2 and re-plug it back in to get rid of the "Disconnected" and gray screen starting up.  This also happens with my iPad Pro 10.5" A10X as well.  Both running 11.1.3.

I have tried that and it still says it is disconnected. I have reset my iPad twice as well and it still says disconnected.

I cannot connect my ipad yet, my iphone connects but only if I do the initial sign up on 3/4G but not on my wifi home account, later I am going to swap my telf chip into the
Ipad and see.

I would use the application that went well before the problem ... i mean app version

Mine is dead now too (Air 2) with the new iOS 11.2.1 and Go 4.1.8.  Says "Ready to Fly" in green, but version is not showing in About screen nor will the gimbal respond to the C1 up and down either.

It can't be the cable as it shows "Ready to Fly" but stuff ain't working right (Fwiw, Tried other cables too and all RC/aircraft is current firmware.).

Relegated to a paperweight.
