use jb kwikweld and repair the pillars etc.  i did mine in a few minutes and better than ever.  gorilla glue sucks.  eventually went back to dji for warranty and they replaced it (canada to usa) no fees no cost to me at all.

Was your P3 out of warranty? My remote is now having broken plastic and loose screws inside. Purchased mine 10/2016

mine was in warranty.  went in because a firmware update bricked it not because of the broken parts though.

I bought a new replacement P4 Controller Upper Shell off Ebay for $55 usd and it fit the P3 Controller Lower shell and all the internal parts fit exactly the same. The P4 controller upper shell comes with antennas, power button, home button and the rotary switches installed and has a smooth glossy finish compared to the P3 upper shell. So hopefully it will last for a while.
