Hi,
Can someone please help. I am just updated my Inspire 1 to firmware 01.08.01.00. I think the result is a success, but what do all abort messages mean in the result file below?
The SD card was freshly formatted and there was nothing else on there exept the .bin file

Can someone please shed light on what all the abort results mean? What is it trying to update?
To my thinking, there should be only one entry in the file. The version I am trying to update to and the result, what does all the rest mean?

The result file shows us that you've just upgrade the firmware to the latest version v01.08.01.00
I think the previous version was v01.06.00.40, wasn't it? And before the latest firmware upgrade, you'd extracted the v01.06.00.40 bin file in the SD card..That the most possible reason for the result of "Abort", it means the installed firmware is older or identical to the bin file in the SD card, so it results in aborting the upgrade attempts.

The *.txt result file will display all the upgrade results of the upgrade attempts.
I can count at least how many times your Inspire 1 tried to upgrade itself from your provided file.
The last section of the file just shows the result of your last upgrade attempt.
