Maybe one of the reasons I didn't see a difference between the 9443 & the 9450 props is I was comparing the 9443 carbon fiber reinforced props to the 9450 props and not the standard 9443. The question is will DJI offer a new carbon fiber reinforced 9450 prop? the CFR props are $2 more a pair.
Below is DJI's description of the 2 props. They claim the carbon fiber reinforced 9443 "have more dynamic thrust" than the standard 9443 which make the "9443 CFR ideal for those seeking maneuverability and sensitivity".
The 9443 CFR rotor uses innovative carbon fiber reinforced composites in its construction, instead of traditional glass fiber reinforced plastic. This advanced material combined win an ultra-thin profile guarantees extremely high levels of rigidity along with low amounts of inertia, allowing for more dynamic thrust. These features make the 9443 CFR ideal for those seeking manouverability and sensitivity.
The DJI 9450 propellers inherit the low vibration, low inertial characteristics of its predecessor, the 9443. By using a second generation airfoil designed with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) in the DJI Propulsion Lab, the new 9450 provides extra thrust and better power efficiency. Thanks to this increased thrust, performance is significantly improved when flying a heavy-loaded Phantom or Flame Wheel, especially during quick maneuvers and descent.
