Nice shot. A slight correction: A filter with a factor of 4 is 2 stops.

2X = 1 stop
4x = 2 stops
8x = 3 stops
16x = 4 stops
32x = 5 stops

Yes; apols; it's 1 stop marked on the lens; that's ND 2....  Only just started using them

No. It was clear skies and the mist was very low level; literally a couple of metres...  And it wasn't too cold, so no misty lenses.
