Has anyone had any issues connecting the phantom 3 advanced remote to a device that has android 6.0.1 using the dji go app? I ran into an issue today where i updated my galaxy s6 to 6.0.1 and tried to fly but when i opened up the app i wasnt able to hit the camera button.

6.0.1 running on my nexus 6 and I haven't had any problems. Good luck, wish I could be more help.

Thank you, no worries maybe it was just a glitch on my phone.

What!! You have Android 6 on your GS6? Mine has not received the update yet! Arg stupid carrier!

I had same problem earlier today when you turn controller on you need to scroll down  the settings page  for wifi and and location and such in the notifications there will be an option for USB setting you want to click on that and select second option for transmitting images mine worked after that.   It appears though you have to do that every time you power on controller

Yea its nothing special lol, the layout changed a tiny bit. I have verizon

I hope dji will come up with an update where you wont have to do that everytime you connect your controller. Before the android 6.0.1 update the controller would automatically connect my phone.

I have gs6 and did the update but dont have my bird back from nerogaurd yet to try it but i use my galaxy tab 4 10.1 so it should be as normal

I fly with a Note 5. When it updated to 6.0 I was unable to connect with my Phantom. 3 at all. I wiped the phone and went back to Android 4.2.2 and everything is OK. I like flying with the Note 5 because  of the screen brightness. I assume that DJI is behind the times with Android again. I will wait until others say that they are flying with 6.0 before updating to 6.0 Anson

I have had 6.0 with my shield k1 and MotoX Pure Edition and use both with my p3p.
the MotoX does great in sunlight vs most others.....

Every time i fly now i have to go into settings and turn usb tethering on in order for the phone to get the camera view. Its getting annoying and i hope dji can get an update to fix the problem

i have the same problem here with a P3P.
I also select the second option for transmitting images when the usb option appears but for me doesnt work!!!

Same problem here. Galaxy s5 6.0.1 remote wont connect... ; (
