these particular ones  are thought to have a Norse origin and could potentially date to 800AD

Aloha mickey,

Interesting subject matter.  But, you might try slowing down your rotations for smoother video.  For example, in your Point of Interest shot at the beginning, the rotation was too fast and the result was not smooth.  The POI IOC option is a great tool for learning smooth rotations because you have the rotation speed slider.  Record your POI at various speeds using the slider and you will see when the video becomes smooth.

Vertical and horizontal rotations are very sensitive to frame rate when trying to create smooth video.  Decide on your final frame rate before you start shooting and record at that frame rate or above.  If you record at 25 (and sometimes 29-30 frames per second), even if you reformat your video to 60 frames per second for publishing, it will still not get smoother.

You have some good opportunities to do some really good videos.  This one was quite interesting.  Like roger says, "Now I have to go Google it!"  I am looking forward to more of your videos.

Aloha and Drone On!

Cheers Cetaman, I am still learning about all this fps stuff.  I agree the POI was a bit too fast, to be honest I was trying to preserve battery for later on and was just taking the opportunity of a break in the rain.

Rain?...in the Lakes?

Do you live in Cumbria?  You're very lucky if you do.  Plenty of space & subject matter to practice with.
