When you say your Mac doesn't support the RAW format what software are you trying to use ? -Photos ?

It's not your computer that's the problem.
It's just that you don't have any software that recognises the format.
If you use Photoshop download the latest version of Adobe Camera Raw and install that.
Otherwise google should be able to find a solution.

The default application for photos that comes with a Mac is called "Photos" and it is perfectly capable of handing Adobe DNG files including those from the P4 so I don't really understand what problem the OP is having.

I do know that my older version of Photoshop does not support the DJI version of RAW, I had to use Adobe Raw Converter to import them.

Apple have replaced "iPhoto" with "Photos", as iPhoto is an old application it may not have the latest RAW convertor built in, I suggest you update to "Photos" - a free upgrade

Be sure you have the latest software update on all apps. There is also a file to download and update for RAW support. Apple keeps updating it to support new RAW cameras.
