Had a great morning with the Inspire 1 Pro and x3/x5 camera. Got to Alcatraz from Treasure Island 2.4 miles (my best). Love this Aircraft.

Looks like a popular location to fly from and B4UFLY shows that it is one of the few safe to fly locations with minimal notification requirements (mostly heliports) but outside both Oakland and SFO. I think BIGDZ recently posted videos from the same area -> Thanks Guys!

I was hoping someone may one day post some aerial photos/video of the USS Pampanito, a ( WWll Submarine) which I believe is moored at Pier 45 there in San Francisco Bay.  : )

Tried that a year ago with my p2v+ I was told not to fly around it lol

Probably thought you were a spy trying to get some inside technology info. lol.  Then again if you accidently crashed into the sub itself there may not only be a chance of a sightseer getting injured, but the possibility the boat may sink as well. : )

DZ, Maybe you can fly in from a distance, then they wouldn't be able to determine who or where the pilot was, just for a brief strafing mission were my thoughts nothing long enough to gain the attention of any officials. Oops, did I say that. No, just kidding. : )
