Not sure the Android app has that option. In 2.7.2 any ideas on where it would be?

My first guess is that you have a Standard. If so,  the only way is to have cellular and wifi on at the same time.  DJI says the streaming will not work with the Standard, but I have seen it reportedly done via cellular.

You would be wrong. Its a P3A, it worked prior to 2.7

That is what i thought. I managed to get it to work for all of 2 mins. Had it streaming theough on my laptop, youtube was throwing errors saying my res was too high, they were receiving data fast enough. Last i checked, i was able to stream from my laptop to youtube for gaming with no issues at 2k. So ive no clue at this point. My internal network speeds are off the wall fast. So again, im at a loss here.

Your lucky then you got android to work with this live streaming, for some reason I cant. I've looked on youtube for videos & on google, followed the steps to verify my YT acct, but when it says to go to video manager things changed, google changed steps somewhere, I can find where it says to do a live event but one place said to do it as an aircraft feed (or something like that), cant find that.
Using a Nvidia Shield k1, also tried my samsung s5 & an ipad mini air.
Its not them at this point, its still YT as I can not seem to find current steps, most everything is from 2015.

If you have more current steps, or someplace with current steps I'm sure myself & others would be beholden for updated steps.

The way i did have it working was by uninstalling, then reinstalling and immediately launching it and going to youtube. Aince then, it has not worked.

Thanks for the suggestions Sliquid, while this seems like a great idea it sure is a pain in the rear to get working &/or setup.

Maybe there is a light at yhe end of the tunnel, i did read an article about DJI adding facebool streaming by the end of the month. Although i cannot confirm.it, it would probably be easier. I know not everyone has FB, but it would help me share with those i intended to in the first place.

Ah well,  there is a first time for everything.  

But I know youtube changes stuff all the time. I used to be able to watch youtube videos through my DirectTv box.  Then they changed something and it no longer works.  I also no longer have DirectTv,  but that's another story.  I don't know what bitrate the stream from the Phantom sends,  I assume it's the same as what goes to your device.  And I have seen video that claims to be 4K on youtube,  so 2.7k should be no problem.  My internet connection is to slow to even try,  so I can not offer much help,  sorry.

I just wish YT had more incite to it, it seems its a hangup between the app and YT. Yt states the stream will start shortly and that all is fine but the app wont allow the start of the stream.

mine doesn't work either, where is the hardware decoding on the android device?
