On the DJI web site the TB47 battery availibilty has been changed.  It now reads:


Available to ship: 10 working days after payment is confirmed


Any truth to this?  Has anyone received any additional batteries as of today?

I ordered another battery and at the time is said shipping 3-5 days (Around Jan 2) shipping after payment received. After 9 days and no shipping I was able to source 2 through All e RC and had them the next day. (Great company to work with) and so I cancelled my order. I don't know why DJI is soooooo slooooowwww in their online store I guess they are putting batteries in complete units. I suspect the Customer Service is way down on their list. IMO the Inspire 1 should come with a at least 2 batteries or at least have them readily available its been two weeks since launch.

I ordered a TB47 on Dec 04 2014 from DJI, it finally shipped today with a tracking number.

Dealer here in Canada are telling us $240 Canadian for the TB47, this is a serious pronging, its just a freaking battery.

I ordered the standard battery on the 7th and there was no mention of a hold before shipment. Now on the 15th it still has not shipped.

If not for the DJI discount I received, I would be less happy right now.

Ordered a battery back in November in round 2. Just had notification today with a shipping number. Hopefully the Inspire in which it belongs will be following it over from China soon

That's why I ordered my Inspire from DJI, despite the unbelievable wait: It was quite a bit cheaper. Local dealer here was selling for 3349 (CDN), which WAS cheaper than I paid (3468), but DJI takes care of duty/taxes, so it works out quite a bit cheaper.  If I had bought from the dealer, I would have had to pay a total of 3785.

Besides, I'd be sitting on it right now anyway until it warms up here...

I ordered 4 batteries from UAV-Outlet.com and got shipping confirmation this morning.

I ordered 2 batteries before even ordering the bird (That forces me to make the expensive purchase in case I end up debating and convincing myself not to) Have not received either as of yet. Still not so anxious anymore with all the horror stories I'm hearing. i.e... IMU, Auto takeoff, propellors falling, ext..

I ordered 3 extra with mine and got them with the shipment of the Inspire 1. Just thinking ahead.

I just placed an order for 2 batteries, a remote, 2 chargers, and 2 sets of props. I'll keep everyone updated if they ship tonight/tomorrow.

I just received notification that my TB47 (standard) battery ordered from DJI on 7/1 using my DJI credit will arrive on Thursday.

Now, if I could just get prop locks so I could fly!

I just received my 4 spares today from Uav-Outlet.com  Question, do I need to do anything to the batteries other than charge and fly?  Didn't know if they have firmware that needs to be updated or anything.

Have the firmware on the microSD in the gimbal. Once you power on, if the battery needs updating, it will do so. It is recommended you let it sit to update if needed.

I have an order in here for accessories for the same reason then asked and they currently do not have stock nor any word when the will from DJI

Per the updating instructions, if your firmware is still on the SD card, then it will update the firmware in the battery as necessary.

I ordered from DJI over a week ago and just got my tracking yesterday. I also ordered one from
AlleRC and it arrived two days later. Much faster than DJI.

I don't think they have any in stock. They are also showing the 48 battery for $500 with no backorder. I don't think they are showing inventory on their site. Nobody has the 48 batteries yet.

I confirm that they have nothing in stock. I placed an order for batteries, chargers, props, and an extra remote yesterday and there was no update on shipping status. I just got off the phone with them and they have confirmed that they have nothing in stock. Zero. Zip. Nada.

On the upside, i can cancel my order any time for a full refund.

The TB47 batteries I ordered earlier this month shipped out a few days ago and has already been delivered.

I have another order for 2 batteries that should be shipping in another week or so, so if my earlier order was any indication, I think I can trust them

Yeah I placed that order and it still sits processing wth...
500 for extra controller when you buy a battery .

i ordered my 3 extra batteries on the 13/1/15,they shipped on the 20/1/15

Im buying from dealers from now on direct is a real pain..
