Yesterday I crashed my Phantom 3; 100% pilot error. The drone is totaled, the camera is gone, wouldn't be practical to fix it.
My question is can I buy just another Phantom and have it paired to my existing remote controller or do I have to buy a new Phatom and the RC that comes with it. I think I know the answer here, but wanted to ask.

Yes. You can use that remote with another one. My first phantom 3 was attacked by a owl and totaled. I purchased another phantom and used my old remote.

As evsjas said......but you'll have to" link" the new bird to your existing controller.

Thanks! Now if I can find just the Phantom and not have to buy everything that comes with it. I don't know if that is an option or not.

I found out yesterday that my insurance is going to buy me a new one, so I will have an extra remote. I'm thinking about getting a Phantom 4 though. We will see!

Won't work.  Two completely different systems.
