Here is a recent project my science class completed, it turned out to be a great lesson!

Recently 5th-8th grade science students competed to build egg drop containers to protect their "eggronauts" from the effects of gravity at different heights. All the students were successful in protecting their eggs, some more than others! This was a great way to teach students about gravitational forces, acceleration, and learning to calculate velocity of their projects. In addition, each student selected a famous astronaut to become their "eggronaut", in this way students learned historical contributions to space exploration as well.

Interesting project ! I wonder how the drone drops the egg? Any tricks there?

The drop mechanism is explained clearly in the video. ;-)
Did you actually watch it? Because if you had, that wouldn't be a question... Ha
Perhaps watch it again, or. . .

It's actually very much like what I would use, while trapping, with one style of my branch spring snares. ;-)
Sturdy until slightly jarred, then it's payload is let loose and a gonner. ;-)
