Heading to Lake Tahoe and am curious what changes for flying at this elevation? If I'm fliming a ski session on the mountain are things different? (Less lift?)

You still start at zero when taking off. I flew my Phantom at 12,000 feet in Vail last week. Wish I had my Inspire before that trip.

Video from 12,000 feet.

There certainly is less lift at Lake Tahoe versus at sea level. Air is less dense at higher altitudes, but It is somewhat compensated this time of year by the cold temp. I think you'll find your battery doesn't last as long because you're using more power to maintain an equivalent sea level lift.

Thank you! Battery life isn't an issue. Flying this thing for even 5 minutes is satisfying enough. Sure I wish it was longer, but it does seem to charge the battery back up rather quickly (45min - 1hr. - not too bad).

I'm currently waiting on 3 additional TB-48 batteries and 3 additional chargers.
