Has anybody thought about or any idea how difficult it would be to convert the DJI camera to infra red. I really like the contrasty mono shots people are producing from SLR cameras, and I havent seen anyone shoot in IR from a drone yet!

Could be a niche to get into?

You can buy an IR camera option for the Inspire, but it is quite expensive. There is no such option for the P3 or P4. It requires a camera that has an IR sensitive sensor, the normal sensor will not do it.

SLR and CSC type cameras have a hot mirror filter (I think it's called) over the sensor, this is replaced with an infra red filter. The sensor itself is the same for normal and IR photography.
